On the Emerald Isle...

We have made it to Ireland (even after a rather hectic securing of our rental car with the agent telling an irritated Steve, "you're pointing your finger at me!")

We spent hours of a somewhat indiscernible evening in a pub with very kind and quite friendly locals (with heavy accents).  We are now nestled into the Moat Lodge, our 17th century B & B that will be our home for the three nights we're in Dublin.  The fall like weather is a welcomed contrast and truly makes us feel like we are in Ireland.  It's wonderful.

An Irish Blessing...
As you slide down the bannisters of life,
may the splinters never point the wrong way.

Glad you made it to Ireland.
Don't forget 6.00am on Saturday morning for the titanic battle between the greens and the reds.
There are 25,000 Irish supporters in New Zealand and a slightly lesser number of the Welsh fans.
It will be an epic encounter.
Keep travelling safely.

Did ya hear 'bout the two Irishmen that walked out of a Pub?

How did you work out the rental car?
It looks beautiful there.
And the food...gotta love the fried goodness! What a change from Italy.
(But it really is good.)
