Our traditional Irish breakfast...

We began our day with a delicious full Irish breakfast:  bacon rashers, pork sausage, eggs, tomatoes, baked beans, whole meal bread, white and black pudding (black pudding, blood pudding or blood sausage is a type of sausage made by cooking blood or dried blood with a filler until it is thick enough to congeal when cooled).  Believe it or not, I loved it all and will miss it for the next two weeks as we move on to stay in cottages where we have to cook for ourselves!

We are continuously surprised by all the wonders of Ireland!

Yeah, I am not really into the meal but I am glad YOU liked it! I have to admit, as a pescatarian, I did try the blood pudding and it wasn't bad (at all). I just don't know about the beans and the eggs together.
Looks like a protein filled morning though, just what you need to get through another chilly day!
Thanks for sharing!

Prepare for breakfast "full" Irish, you advise the Irish ingredients, if possible. Anyone from Ireland to know that the sausages and sweet puddings and sausages unless they are from Ireland.

No potatoes???? When we were in Ireland, we would get potatoes even with pizza. They would just ask "What kind of potatoes would you like?" -- meaning: fried, mashed, baked, etc... Loved it.

Kelloggs Corn Flakes seemed to be on every breakfast faire while we were in Ireland. Seems they switched that to beans. I'll take the corn flakes. Love blood sausage though.
