Tráthnóna maith from Clonakilty, Ireland...

We drove through the historic and beautiful countryside to arrive at our amazing cottage for a week's stay in the little town of Clonakilty, a place from where we will travel the southern coastline and the Dingle Peninsula.  Quaint shops, wonderful pubs and rich history... it should prove an interesting and busy seven days!

The last photo is the pub of the O'Donovan's Hotel (1889) where we are delighting in an ale while warming ourselves before a roaring coal fire.  Life is good in Ireland.

LOVE IT ALL!
I am glad to know you are warming up next to a fireplace, with a pint of beer. Sounds lovely. I wish I was there with you!
Isn't it interesting that they have beer glasses for the specific brand of beer. They take it so seriously!

All sounds and look wonderful, I too like the different glass for the beer. Sounds simply perfect to me!
