Wanting to try out all our shopping options, to stay COVID-free, we embraced technology, yet again, and ordered through Walmart.com for their curbside pickup. Not only does it keep us safer but the employees, too. We 💙 this!
It's pretty simple, especially if you're not desperate for an item. While they say that you "choose a convenient pickup time and we'll do the shopping for you. ... Everything you need is within reach - shop fresh groceries curbside" in these times, it could be a few days before it's your time but you know that when you're ordering (no surprises).
We were notified that our order was ready and headed over. A Walmart employee, Matt, pulled and bagged our items and brought them out to our car (and loaded them for us) at our appointed time.
There were a couple things that were not available (33 gallon trash bags for instance) but most were. Some were substituted and right then we could choose to accept or deny those changes. This is a fabulous shopping option that doesn't cost anything extra. I know many stores offer this service. In fact, now our local crafting store Michael's does the same. Though that sounds dangerous to this gal who loves to craft and has far too much time on her hands. Hmmm.
I'm appreciating all the options we have. And kudos to our business community for helping us keep some semblance of normalcy in this current crazy world.
