Practicing Kindness During COVID-19

I received this gentle reminder that during this time full of unknowns and disappointments we need to be tender with one another. While schools are closed, events are canceled, the news is scary, and the what-ifs are troubling we, must remember that this is an unprecedented time, and we need unprecedented kindness.

I loved the suggestions at inspirešŸ§”kindness. One of the things I'm doing is writing Thank You notes to all our usual businesses. It's important to remember, for instance, that the cashiers at Trader Joe's are actually risking their lives to make certain you're able to buy milk. That was a profound realization that hit me hard today after Steve returned home from errands with 'staples'.

Stay well. Be grateful. Know you are thought of often.
