Sunshine and finales...
To beat the heat of hottest day so far we headed to Villa Marianna's delightful pool. What a luxury to do nothing but float about!
The evening was spent listening to music and meeting friends at Osteria Rossobastardo, the outdoor venue of La Mama for theater, art, bands and just amazing memories under the stars. This is where Kegan and Matt have gone every night since Matt's July 5th arrival. Tonight marked its closing.
It was the finale for the Festival of 2 Worlds as well. The town was alive with beautifully adorned patrons of the arts. Wow. I have never seen Spoleto so crowded and so well dressed! Oh and the shoes. The Italians know how to have la bella figura.
It's incredible to see how this village changes through the seasons and events. I'm still loving it here.
