CCM Spoleto-let the music begin!

At 6:30 AM, Steve and I boarded a bus and enjoyed the scenic rolling hills of Italy as we headed to the airport to help gather students who had come to begin an amazing adventure:

CCM Spoleto is open to all students from around the world. We are offering the experience of a lifetime to singers, instrumentalists, conductors, accompanists, and stage technicians. Over 100 talented young people will be chosen to travel to Spoleto, Italy and participate in numerous chamber and vocal concerts, orchestral concerts and operas, interwoven with Italian language classes, coachings, lessons, and field trips. All will converge at the home of the Festival dei due Mondi, founded by Gian Carlo Menotti and Cincinnati's own Thomas Schippers.

It was wonderful to share our love of Spoleto while helping.  I even moved in two of the musicians, Austin and Jeremy, to their apartment and introduced them to living in Italy.  Meeting new people, being a tour guide, sharing our love of this town... what a perfect Saturday.

Sounds like an amazing music program.
There are so many incredible international opportunities in this world that are seemingly undiscovered. I love to be introduced to them.
Thanks Denise!
