St. Patrick's Day Celebration...

This was the 46th year for this incredible Tahoe-Douglas Rotary St. Patrick's Day Celebration and it is truly a South Shore tradition.

Cyndy and Len were our amazing hosts. The night was unforgettable because of them. As Tahoe's top event in March, this party featured a traditional Irish buffet, wine tasting, and one of the region's biggest silent actions to help raise more than $30,000 each year for charitable organizations through grants, projects and donations.
There was GREEN everywhere.
Those who had facial hair dyed it, the rest of us made do with stick-on mustaches. Our facial adornment was a big hit.

I followed this Leprechaun around a bit wanting to photograph him.
Jenny and Bob got photo bombed by Pam.
Their motto was "Feed Your Face! Down Your Drinks! Get Lucky!!!" With a scrumptious buffet, we totally fed our faces.

Oh man, did I mention the dancing?  Lots of dancing... so fun.
At the end of the evening, we six lingered sans mustaches, and delighted in our friendship and how much we enjoyed this exceptional event.

May your blessings outnumber
The shamrocks that grow,
And may trouble avoid you
Wherever you go.

I, too, wore a mustache this weekend. I had no idea how uncomfortable they are. I have a new respect for men, constantly be checking to see if their mustaches are still there, adjusting them so they are not crooked... it is a lot of work!
Happy St. Patty's Day!! It looks like you all had WAY too much fun!
