Ooh-rah...
Our entire day was spent exploring The National Museum of the Marine Corps...a place we've been to once before but didn't have enough time to "follow in the footsteps of Marines...An American history museum...American history seen through the eyes of individual Marines across nearly 235 years."
The valor, courage and sacrifice of these amazing warriors is recreated in 120,000 square feet of the most incredible exhibits. I can't even to begin to explain how awe-inspiring the story of the Marines is and how both times we've visited, I've wanted to join their ranks (not that I would have the strength nor commitment it takes). We left emotional and eternally grateful to past, present and future military personnel. An eye opening experience!
