On the river in Wisconsin...

Home base for our next two nights is alongside the Wisconsin River in Spring Green.  The campground is the ideal respite after miles of highway and the town offers so much.

"For a casual weekend getaway, Spring Green can't be improved upon.  It's an unpretentious place, but after all, it's good enough that it doesn't have to pretend."  -North Shore Magazine.

We are here to explore Taliesin, Frank Lloyd Wright's Wisconsin masterpiece and the unfortunate setting for the end of the book "Loving Frank".  After learning about man made we will learn about
the noted conservationist Aldo Leopold's life and legacy (I'm reading his book, "A Sand County Almanac", which Kegan introduced to me).  It's going to be an amazing couple of days.

Looks perfect and peaceful! Something we all need from time to time! I love Frank Lloyd Wright, I hope you enjoyed every minute of it.
