The Garden Around the Corner...

It's awesome how easy it is to get exposed to nature in our neighborhood. There is something very cheerful in flowers blooming and pollinators doing their jobs.

I have been admiring this National Wildlife Federation Certified Wildlife Habitat® since it awoke this Spring.
Note the yellow beauty in the upper right petal. This is one of my new favorite spiders.

Anyone who has one of these special gardens is taking a step towards replenishing resources for wildlife such as bees, butterflies, birds, and amphibians—both locally and along migratory corridors.

When the homeowner planted this garden, her goal was to replenish resources for wildlife. I wonder if she knows she has also replenished her neighbor's need for nature.

My sister has a neighbor that does this as well. We sit with tea in her yard and oodle at all the birds. Serene and fun.
