Fun in Girdwood: Blueberries & More

Tomorrow is the 10th Annual Blueberry Festival so we arrived in town early.


Needing to do some laundry, we headed to the very highly rated Laundromall. Which shares its building with the highly rated Herbal Cache.
We then explored the Hotel Alyeska to be prepared for the big weekend. 
I delighted in the Blueberry Martini, a delicious concoction of house-infused blueberry Absolute Vodka, shaken and served up with a lemon sugar rim and a fresh blueberry pike. If I wasn't ready for the festival prior to imbibing, I certainly am now! Fun stuff in Girdwood.

Boy, I could have used a few of those blueberry martinis the other day...know you must have enjoyed yours.
