Alyeska for Two Nights...

We have left the Kenai Peninsula, but not before meeting new friends.

Our younger son's mother-in-law saw that we were on the Kenai and put us in touch with friends of hers (who said son had just met while on his honeymoon). Megan and Ryan live in Alaska in the summer and Fiji in the winter... oh what a life.
We spent the morning getting to know her and her adorable children, before we headed north.
For the next two nights we will be camped in the ski town of Girdwood.
This is the view out our back door and that tiny orange speck, above the 'T' in Steve is Steve.
We're going to slow it down a bit and take more time to hike and just "be". It's time. We have been on the road for almost two months. Life is pretty incredible!

Wow! Two months! So cool. I start back at work next week! (Not with the kids.) And as you know, we leave in eight days for Idaho... Total Solar Eclipse 2017!!!!
