"Sierra Stories" so worth the read...

Author and Sierra Nevada Native, Gary D. Noy, shared his newest book, Sierra Stories: Tales of Dreamers, Schemers, Bigots, and Rogues with a group of us who did not let a little snow get in our way.

This interesting collection highlights unusual or lesser-known stories of the Sierra Nevada experience.  Some stories are adventurous, some are horrifying, some are inventive, but all are fascinating windows into our history in the breathtaking Range of Light.  The book features sixty-five tales, three of which he shared tonight.
Thus leaving the audience totally wanting more!
I have always been intrigued by the history here. Gary brought it to life for all of us. I eagerly await his next visit to South Lake Tahoe.
