The Friends of the Library presented Astronomy for Everyone: Size & Scale of the Universe, an exciting family program for all ages about the universe, from the very small to the very large.

Former consultant to NASA, Kevin Manning, shared an out of this world slide presentation which kept all of us on the edge of our seats.
 We then went lakeside to look through a very powerful telescope.
We were amazed by Jupiter with its very visible stripes and four moons.
 And our own moon did not disappoint, either.
This photo is my favorite of the series. Mr. Manning's program is called Look up to the Stars which I totally caught him doing. Everyone was impressed and delighted in this phenomenal program. I love our library!
