A Christmas Card From Steve...
On a recent explore of our cabin's attic, I found a bag of Christmas cards from 2013. What fun it was to read about everyone's life then and to see the photos of family and friends from a decade ago.

Within this Tahoe card, was the sweetest poem from Steve (the second one he has written since we began in 1986).
It was a joyous surprise that made two into three,
then three became four with the Easter Bunny.
Life moved ahead with great speed and more fun,
and in our motor-homes we did run.
Out of the house and off to big school,
we four were two again and it felt so cool.
Over the road, and then over the seas,
speaking Italian was not with great ease.
But off we went with darling flair,
and made good friends way over there.
Back in the States with itchy feet,
we bought our little cabin on a mountain street.
Life is amazing, beautiful and sweet,
our awesome life is our little treat.
You are my present, lovely to the end,
I'm so happy to have you as my life-long friend!
