Festival dei due Mondi...

According to the book, 1,000 Places to See Before You Die: A Traveler's Life List by Patricia Schultz, two of the Places are actual events.  The Spoleto Festival in Charleston, SC and the Festival of Two Worlds, in Spoleto, Italy.  We'll as you may recall, last May was spent volunteering for the exceptional 'sister program' to the original here in Spoleto.

Monday night, we joined the cittadini to see Giorgio Ferrara, the President and Artistic Director,  reveal the plans for the 54th year of the Festival and the 100th birthday celebration of its founder
Maestro Gian Carlo Menotti.

We have wanted to be here for this event for many years and after the meeting, I realize we are here for the best year yet.  Now only 9,998 more places to see before we die!  Can't wait.

Ummm, I am pretty sure you have done more on the list! You didn't start travelling last year. :)
I like to go through the list and check stuff off. I am sure we will have a bunch of checkmarks in Asia now...
