Chocolate tour then wine on the terrace...

After touring Perugia, we visited the wonderful chocolate factory of Perugina, home of Baci (Italy's 'kisses').  We were able to learn about the company and see the factory which was currently closed because it was exhausted from the six months of creating Uova di Pasqua  (Easter Eggs).

The Lonely Planet review for Perugina Chocolate Factory is extremely accurate:

Get in touch with your inner Willy Wonka at the Perugina Chocolate Factory. Granted, you'll learn more than you'd ever need to know about the business practices of a chocolate company, but you get as many free samples as you could ever possibly ingest at once, and there's a shop filled with all sorts of chocolate goodies.

We ended our day, delighting in the late afternoon sun, on our terrace.  Day one is a huge success!

NOT FAIR!!!!! How far away is it from you? Is it possible to camp out inside?
I am glad I don't work there. If I gained 5 lbs working at See's I couldn't imagine how much I would gain in Pergina...but it would be worth it, I am sure.
