Children's voices fill the air...
We were invited by Antonia, one of our American friends' daughter, to her school's annual holiday program. Performed in the amazing Teatro Nuovo, Spoleto's 1864 "New Theater", it was the perfect venue because the entire evening was the history of Spoleto in song.
From the third row, we delighted in watching the 1st - 5th graders persevere through a large repertoire (including one number in Latin) followed with speeches by the Mayor and other dignitaries. It was obviously an important night in Spoleto and we were happy to receive one of Antonia's three admission tickets.
