A sojourn to Savannah...

We have traveled further south to experience Georgia and all that Savannah has to offer.  We are staying in a fantastic hotel, The Marshall House, this 1733 town's first hotel.  Sunday Brunch was at Paula Deen's Restaurant.  Southern hospitality in all its finest!

We spent the rest of the day exploring all that Savannah had to offer.  Take a journey back more than 275 years when you travel to Savannah's Landmark Historic District. From the moment you enter one of the 22 shady public squares designed by General James Oglethorpe, to the instant you glimpse the Forsyth Fountain, you'll know why it's still one of the largest historic landmarks in the country.

From the house where Juliet Gordon Low was born (she founded Girls Scouts), to the river front to an 18th century cemetery, we've seen so much via walking.  It's an incredible glimpse of history.
