More aimless, albeit interesting, wandering in Charleston...
After lunching at our new favorite Mexican restaurant, we went to North Charleston's weekly Farmer's Market. Then back into town where we walked for hours.
Just wandering the streets, we get a feel of Charleston's history and how the city has managed to maintain its southern pride and charm. Charleston is the second biggest city in South Carolina, but we don't feel overwhelmed here. In this laid back town, the atmosphere is more that of a small town with a distinct Southern feel. The people are incredibly nice and everything that you want to see, do, eat or drink is within the well planned, easily traversed historic district. We are becoming quite comfortable here and it's only day #2.
