Ballet, alpacas, ice cream, and Nashville...

This morning, I, Great Aunt Denise, had the opportunity to French braid hair, paint toe nails and apply makeup to three beautiful ballerinas before their dress rehearsal for their big recital.  What a fabulous, girlie opportunity.

We then went on a road trip to Nashville, IN...

The quaint village of Nashville is a great place for a romantic getaway, with hundreds of unique craft, specialty & antique shops, and great music & theater venues. Visitors enjoy watching artists in galleries and craft studios throughout Brown County Indiana. Brown County is known as the "artist colony of the midwest" (since the 1800s).

While there, we learned some history, loved on some alpacas, shopped, dined and meandered.  We spent the last of our time together playing at the park and crafting paper airplanes.  I will miss this more than I ever thought.
