Shells, strolls, seabreezes...
Today was a relaxing day for us. We walked along the ocean shore. This was Steve's first visit to the Atlantic... what a greeting! Strong winds and rough waves but millions of seashells and miles of walking opportunities.
The Apache Pier, where we are camped, is the longest wooden pier on the East Coast so we had to venture to the end of it's 1,206 ft. We enjoyed listening to the locals, with their heavy Southern accents, tell us about the local fish, whose names we didn't recognize. Tomorrow... Charleston!
