Live at Lakeview Commons=SUMMER

Warm sun, great friends, toe-tapping music, the lake for a backdrop... what more could one want on a Summer night?

After the very fun opening act, The Johnson Party, MuleSkinner Stomp, posed for photos before taking the stage.
Described on their Facebook page as, "Muleskinner Stomp is a hard-driving bluegrass band hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area. We like our kicks, tunes, and harmonies the same way we like our pasta; Hot, fast, and rich and creamy."

This guy's shirt reads "Surf Lake Tahoe California". Fun stuff.
People watching is always fun on Thursdays in Tahoe!
I'm including this sweet Hello Sunshine hat because the wearer was a dude! Hysterical.
How beautiful is this? According to our friend, Steve, who is an expert on many things, this phenomenon is a sundog. "A sundog is a concentrated patch of sunlight occasionally seen about 22° to the left or right of the Sun. Sundogs often form in pairs on either side of our daytime star when sunlight refracts through icy clouds containing hexagonal plate crystals aligned with their large, flat faces parallel to the ground." We didn't stay for the sunset but we got to experience a sundog. Very cool!
