Journey Captured at Temecula's CRC...

On May 28th, I sent out an evite which read, "Howdy Concert Goer, Steve and I will be attending Journey Captured at Temecula's CRC for their Summer Concert Series on Thursday, July 21st! Meet us there at 6:00PM for a pre-party in line?"

Several people accepted the call to ROCK but as the day grew closer, circumstances prevented all from joining us except for David and Karen.

After dining in the vineyards we headed to the Temecula Rec Center only to find that the concert was standing room only. We could not believe it. We have been to numerous events there and we had never seen anything like this massive audience.

Since there was absolutely nowhere to sit, and because the crowd was just too uncomfortably large, we decided to poach the event, sitting outside the venue while still enjoying the show. What's fun is that in September of 2013, we poached an actual Journey Concert in Lake Tahoe.

Poaching did not prevent us from coming in to witness the band's talents or become close friends with Steve Perry (briefly for a photo op). Oh man, what a blast.
