Chickadee LOVE & More...

A planned outing for us was to spend our morning with Stephen and Karen while having a Chickadee encounter.

While I'm normally against feeding wildlife, experts believe it's okay with Chickadees.

“They’re highly, highly intelligent and adaptable birds,” Dr. Will Richardson, of the Tahoe Institute of Natural Science, said. “Super smart. In fact, most of the seeds that they take from your hands, the first thing they do is they grab one, they fly off and they stash it behind a piece of bark.”

Karen provided us with the healthiest of bird seed so we felt good about it all.

Other birds appeared to great delight. It is always a fabulous event when a bald eagle is viewed. Wow.

Life is good.
