Merry Christmas from the Ponderosa...

My girlfriend, Leslie, found this photo from Christmas 1996 (or so) taken at the Ponderosa Ranch.

The Ponderosa Ranch was a theme park based on the popular 1960's television western Bonanza. For many summers the hay ride and all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast were highlights of our vacations in Tahoe. The amusement park operated in Incline Village, Nevada, near Lake Tahoe, from 1967 until 2004. Portions of the last five seasons of the TV series and three TV movies were also filmed at the Ranch. To holidayize the image, a sticker was added to Steve's hat. What a special memory this is. Thank you Leslie.
