Disneyland with Annie...

Annie and I have been friends since college orientation in 1980. We've been going to Disneyland together almost as long. Being together there brings us both comfort and we love just being.

Annie's husband, Bob, has been a Cast Member for over 25 years. It was here that they met.
We spent a lot of time in the Star Wars Launch Bay.
Get an up-close look at replica props, models, costumes and artifacts from the Star Wars films and watch a behind-the-scenes video about how a new generation of filmmakers is crafting the future of the saga. Encounter Han Solo’s trusty sidekick, Chewbacca, for a furry photo and—if you’re brave enough—dare to take a picture with the menacing Dark Lord of the Sith himself, Darth Vader.

With the new movie coming out, this was pretty exciting and added to the hype.
Annie hadn't experienced the photo opportunities that are offered for the 60th.

Lunch was just perfect for the cool temperatures, Corn Chowder soup at New Orleans Square.
Just to clarify, I had the higher score.
My granddaughter is getting her first Mickey ears. I can't wait to take her here one day!
Some Disney sights just make me smile.
"It has that thing - the imagination,
and the feeling of happy excitement-
I knew when I was a kid."
