It's Sunday. It must be Shakespeare!

For our first volunteer opportunity at Valhalla, we saw The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged).

Described as, The Bard meets the Three Stooges. See the play that became a worldwide phenomenon, earning the title of London’s second-longest-running comedy after a decade at the Criterion Theatre. In 97 minutes you will be exposed to all 37 of Shakespeare’s plays by three actors. This Boathouse production breaks with tradition by making two of the actors  girls! (Well, we didn’t actually make them girls, they already were, we just cast them in the show.)  If you don’t like fast paced, witty, and physical comedies with a smidgen of improvisation, then do not see this play.
An enthusiastic Shakespeare fan was happy to share her socks with all of us.
It was obvious there were a lot of knowledgeable Bard lovers in the audience who totally got what was going on.  Steve and I, being rather ignorant said "Huh" a lot.  It's a good thing we're seeing it again on Friday.  I think it might sink in better the second time around.  Shakespeare said it best, "But, for my own part, it was Greek to me". - (Act I, Scene II).
