Boating to the Boathouse...

Our friends, Bob and Jenny, invited us to go to our volunteer gig at the Valhalla Boathouse in grand style on their pontoon boat.

Little Big Town's song Pontoon was promptly played...On the pontoon
Makin' waves and catchin' rays up on the roof
Jumpin' out the back, don't act like you don't want to
Party in slow motion
I'm out here in the open
Mmmmmmm...motorboatin'
The Tahoe Improv Players is a group of really talented people and it is always fun to spend the evening in their company.  Tonight they performed to a sold out crowd.  Hilarity ensued.
The Historic Valhalla Boathouse was home to several wooden boats dating back to the early 20th century and now provides an unparalleled setting for live music, plays, children's productions and public meetings.  Our favorite spot to spend a summer night.
After the final theatergoer left and all was cleaned up, we boarded the boat, motored to the middle of the lake, opened some wine and stargazed.  The sky was aglow- sparkling, twinkling, amazing, radiant- a true 'pinch me' moment.
