One of the Best Live at Lakeview Concerts... YET

Rob Giustina, at OnCourse Events, is really bringing his a-game this summer with these Thursday night magical musical phenomenons. Wow.

Tonight's opener was the awesome band, The Diva Kings, whose music has been best described as "Americana/Rock because it has a country rock feel without the twangy vocals, but still possesses the intimacy of a singer/songwriter. Subtle, country/blues guitar licks, creative chord arrangements, driving beats, and 3-part vocal harmonies all help to create The Diva Kings’ sound." These guys were fantastic!

Next up was the award-winning band The Lil' Smokies. Having come all the way from Missoula, Montana, their music accompanied a spectacular sunset. This band has shared the stage with the likes of Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers and they totally impressed the heck out of us. This night was a musical melding of all things awesome and we were excited to be a part of it.

“The first week of August hangs at the very top of summer, the top of the live-long year, like the highest seat of a Ferris wheel when it pauses in its turning. The weeks that come before are only a climb from balmy spring, and those that follow a drop to the chill of autumn, but the first week of August is motionless, and hot. It is curiously silent, too, with blank white dawns and glaring noons, and sunsets smeared with too much color.” ― Natalie Babbitt
