Citywater at Valhalla...

Tonight's volunteering was our second to the last for the Valhalla theater season. As the sunset occurs earlier, it is evident summer is leaving us. This was a wonderful way to begin its send off.

Volunteering with friends, Chris and Jan, always makes the work more fun!
Jackie and Betty came along, too.
Establishing itself as one of the premiere chamber ensembles in the area, Citywater was hailed by Edward Ortiz as “a top-flight interpreter of contemporary classical music,” and is Sacramento’s own modern chamber ensembles. And it strives to charm and to challenge its audiences with the newest music written.

This was probably the most unique music we have ever heard and by the end of the evening, we had decided that we thoroughly enjoyed its uniqueness.
