Concert at Valhalla's Boathouse

A part of the reason our summers are so awesome is the Valhalla Art, Music, and Theatre Festival at the historic Tallac site.

Our first musical interlude was Susie Glaze & The Hilonesome Band who blended classic folk music with rough-edged stories of tragedy and fate, Described as a "lush newgrass Americana folk fusion quintet" their music was eclectic and very fun to listen to. And Susie voice is incredible.

This was our second opportunity to hear Houston Jones and the anticipation was met with great success. Houston Jones took us into a world of musical virtuosity and storytelling."The acoustic heart of the band beats with the passion of five lifetimes lived in a vairied musical landscape. Houston Jones is a high octane Americana quintet, performing a repertoire that ranges from bluegrass and folk to blues and gospel." What a night of music! The unforgettable summer memories keep expanding.
