With cooler temperatures and a seemingly more festive vibe, the Valhalla Faire concluded today with much pomp and circumstance... and a great deal of photo opportunities!
It is always interesting to watch the Queen's procession and have her entire entourage yell "Three Cheers for the Ale Master" (us in our beer booth). |
Cleavage is a big part of the Faire and there was an abundance today! |
Valhalla is a hall in which heroes killed in battle were believed to feast with Odin for eternity so what better costume than that of a Viking? |
Just some of the diseases that were going around!!! |
I took time to watch a couple of shows, which is always entertaining. |
With the piece de resistance being the Codpiece competition. |
This "caveman's" um equipment, had the crowd laughing and the judges inspecting. |
My favorite was this "dragon" who, as the lord moved his hand in an in and out motion, caused the codpiece to spew bubbles. Parents were forewarned that this wasn't for children. It truly was the ideal way to end my time at the Faire. I laughed most of the way out. |
"Before ye judge a man, ye should walk a mile in 'is boots.
That way,
if he goes for 'is sword, ye be a mile away...
and ye 'ave 'is boots."

Hmmm, in the picture it looks like the dragon is located below his belt so I would think warning children and parents is a good idea!
Oh, and the other ladies have the cleavage down for sure. There is always next year...
