Rubicon Trail & Volunteering..

Since our guys were busy, Jenny and I decided to hike a bit of the D.L. Bliss Rubicon Trail, "a delightful easy hike that includes level walking, stunning views, and quiet forests along the way".  The day was an ideal one for exploring the shoreline while getting a bit of exercise.

Afterward, we completed our first ADA accessibility escort volunteering, of the summer, by helping a family of six experience Emerald Bay in all its glory.

I love the chipmunk picture! I hope you didn't feed it anything. When bears eat human food just once they become addicted and will do anything to get to human food again. My fear is that chipmunks will have a similar response. I really don't want to get attacked by a scurry when I visit!
