Months ago, an author from New Zealand, wrote to our library saying she would be in town for a few days and would we like her to speak about her books. The scheduling didn't work but I suggested we 'play' while she was here. Jane agreed and we had a wonderful day.

While Jane's husband, Neil, was engrossed in an Early Ford Car Show, we spent the day, lakeside. Lunch was at the Beacon in Camp Richardson. |

It only made sense that we would visit Emerald Bay and Vikingsholm, since we only had a few hours together. I wanted her to enjoy my favorite spot on the Lake. |

What a delightful, interesting and easy to be around woman. We both had a wonderful time together. |
