Washoe Meadows State Park...

Karen organized a gathering of Wonderful Women Who Wander for Wildflowers. What fun!

Washoe Meadows State Park consists of meadows and woodlands in the valley at the base of the escarpment leading to Echo Summit. The park was named for the Native Americans who inhabited the area for thousands of years.

We even saw tadpoles.

This unique beauty was maybe a ½ inch. Wonderful things do come in small packages.

Excitedly, Tamara reported, "According to my App, we identified 11 different wildflowers along our walk."
