Birding with Bob & Jenny...

Wednesday found us back at the Lake with the most dramatic skies.

It is always a fantastic day when you begin it with a bald eagle sighting.

These beautiful white pelicans will only be here briefly, touching down for a rest as they migrate.

One of my favorite things about Tahoe is its simple pleasures.
Dramatic, right?
"In spring more mortal singers than belong
To any one place cover us with song
Thrush, bluebird, blackbird, sparrow, and robin throng."

It is so cold there right now!
The birds and the Haerrs must be loving it.
Great pictures.
