Back to the Dangberg Ranch...
Our morning found us in Minden, NV at one of our favorite haunts- the Dangberg Home Ranch Historic Park.
We came for the bargains offered at the Scatter's Attic, a huge tent full of amazing treasures that really were priced exceptionally well.Again, it provided an opportunity for friend connections. Laura, who lives in Minden, met us there. Everyone loves a deal!
I'm not an antique loving gal, but man, there were so very awesome items there. Wow.
Vintage meat grinder for $1 anyone?
After all the shopping, Steve and I did some serious porch sitting while watching kite flying.
"Cameron and Reina Kauffman of Coolkiter.com will bring their assortment of big and beautiful kites, kites for high wind and kites for no wind. Everyone is also welcome to bring their own kites. Park volunteers will also assist children in making giant bubbles. This event is free for all."
I don't know the last time I flew a kite. I do know it was never in such an amazing setting. So dang awesome.
Karen came with her granddaughter and we all delighted in the magicalness of the day.
All I can really say is WOW!
