Local Car Scene Car Show

Steve took me out, on Saturday, for an early Mother's Day celebration. Happily, we stumbled upon a very cool car show.

"Local Car Scene LLC is a car culture event that was formed in Temecula on the basis of providing quality events for local car enthusiasts. We’re deeply rooted in providing a positive car culture for all aged enthusiasts. We aim to to provide a top quality event that is also family friendly." They totally hit the mark with this show!
From their website, "Are you looking for a completely different show experience than anything you’ve ever been to? We believe we’re it. We’re bringing amazing old and new cars together for this one day event. We’re guaranteed to have a mix of anything and everything. You will not leave without liking one car."
It really was a unique mix of awesome vehicles.
It was a contest with the most interesting trophy categories for best: wrap, engine bay, interior, sound system, turbo car, truck, exotic, paint, and even best classic American.

The cars were also judged on being the most: unique build, original import, and whether it was track & dragstrip ready.

Most car shows we attend exhibit older, pre- 1970 vehicles. I enjoyed the category of Overall Post-1980 because it added such diversity to the show. How many 1957 Chevy Bel Airs can one ogle?

The only thing that would have made this event better was me knowing in advance that it was happening. I know so many people who would have loved to peruse these treasures with me. Next year!
