Happy Mother's Day!
On this day to celebrate Moms everywhere, I wanted to share with you a couple of my favorite Motherisms (a comic and quote).
This comic reads,
"The secret of life is listening to your mother in the first place
instead of wasting your time climbing mountains
to ask me silly questions."
My favorite Mom quote comes from Washington Irving,
“A mother is the truest friend we have,
when trials heavy and sudden fall upon us;
when adversity takes the place of prosperity;
when friends desert us; when trouble thickens around us,
still will she cling to us,
and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels
to dissipate the clouds of darkness,
and cause peace to return to our hearts.”
