We volunteered for this inaugural event where guests had the opportunity to drive down to Emerald Bay, enjoy a private tour of the Castle and then a reception in the courtyard with wine and hor d'oeuvres. 

For those new to Todd Borg, he is the talented (and very nice) author of the Award-Winning Owen McKenna Mystery Thrillers. His character has been described as "A hero who walks confidently in the footsteps of Sam Spade, Philip Marlowe, and Lew Archer" by Kirkus Reviews.
During the reception, there was an informative trivia game about Emerald Bay and Vikingsholm, moderated by Sierra Parks Foundation's Heidi Doyle and Todd. The lucky winners went home with a signed copy of one of Todd’s books. So fun!

For those who couldn't secure tickets to this sold out event and still want to hang out with our favorite Tahoe author, Todd will be presenting at the South Lake Tahoe Library on Wednesday, August 7, at 6 PM. More fun to be had in Tahoe!
