This unbelievably incredible music magic began the first summer we moved to Tahoe (2012). It has been the much anticipated event that gets locals through tough winters. Tonight was the kickoff. WOOHOO. 

It's so much more than the music. It's friends meeting up. It's skin being revealed that hasn't seen sun in awhile. It's people watching like no other. It's summer happiness, lakeside.
Don't get me wrong, the music is important, too. Tonight's talent was the highly anticipated Vokab Kompany, featuring a brand-new act B3K, a new sound from South Lake Tahoe’s Robbie Gallo.

For those who don't know, Live at Lakeview is a free weekly concert series hosted at Lakeview Commons, in the heart of South Lake Tahoe. Every Thursday (June 20-August 29, except July 4) the event hosts live music and art on the beach, along with a variety of local merchants and delicious food options plus amphitheater-style seating and breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe from the beer garden.
It is also THE SPOT for an unforgettable sunset.
And there are nine more weeks of pure summer fun! I can't wait.
