Date Night in Carson City...

We have passed Bodines Casino numerous times but tonight we decided to try dining there, succumbing to their neon signs promising great food.


We both chose from the $6.99 Platter Menu. I had the very delicious Roasted Turkey plate with Steve selecting the pork chops. While both were tasty, my dish won.
This was only our second movie viewing at Galaxy Theatre, whose vision statement makes me love it even more, "Provide a consistent, first class entertainment experience in the communities we serve, through effective management, people friendly service, and quality presentations in comfortable, clean surroundings, thereby increasing customer satisfaction, market share and profitability." NAILED IT!
For an extra $2.00, we sat in LUXURY. Oh man, we will never go back to the cheap seats again. Wow.
Our cinematic entertainment was provide by Rocketman, where one reviewer aptly described it as, "A sequin-encrusted delight. On paper it reads like a by-the-book biopic; on screen it explodes with the kind of colour and energy that only Elton John himself could invoke." If you're a fan of Sir Elton, I highly recommend this tale of a lost boy totally found. Wow.
