Celebrating PI Day...

Any reason for a celebration, right? Today is Pi Day, a holiday which is celebrated on March 14th every year. This day was created to celebrate the mathematical constant 𝛑. It falls on 3/14 since three, one and four are the first three digits of PI. It is a holiday that has been celebrated, large-scale, since 1988 by numerous math students and teachers (and those who want an excuse to eat pie).

PI Day celebrations usually center around the dessert pie – not only because PI and pie are homophones in English but also because pie is round and is therefore related to PI.
A bunch of us Haerrs celebrated early by bringing Steve's mom to a new pie place, Betty's Pie Whole.
While the mathematical Pi is so not my thing, sweet and savory pies are! The day added up to awesome (look a math pun).
“We must have a pie.
Stress cannot exist in the presence of a pie.”
