Day Two with the Kids...

We began the morning along the Carson River in Hope Valley, trying out the newest hobby... fishing.  It could not have been a more spectacular day to spend hanging out together.  Since the fish were not biting, we moved to Lake Caples.  This two-mile long lake, at an elevation of 7,800 feet, has 6 miles of shoreline where we fished and picnicked.

An evening of dinner and movies at home, was the perfect end to our leisurely weekend.

Having a place to go - is a home.
Having someone to love - is a family.
Having both - is a blessing.

It looks too cold to swim!
Fred wants to get into fishing. Our new plan is to camp near a lake and catch our own food. But I have never had much luck fishing so we better have a back up plan and not just bring tarter sauce. :)
