We're stagehands in Spoleto...
Today, we experienced our first true "taste" of live theater. We spent the day as stagehands (def.: a person who works backstage or behind the scenes in theaters, film, television, or location performance. Their duties include setting up the scenery, lights, sound, props, rigging, and special effects for a production).
We loved every minute of it, from hanging lights and moving chairs, to mounting a wall and watching rehearsals. Director Andrea and his Compagnia Horovitz-Paciotto are a group of talented and welcoming people and we continue to delight in all that we are fortunate to be involved in.

"I believe that in a great city,
or even in a small city or a village,
a great theater is the outward and visible sign
of an inward and probable culture."
