A Return to the Santa Rosa Plateau...

When we need a nature fix, it can always be found in Sylvan Meadows at the Santa Rosa Plateau.

Part of what I love about this County Park is that, on the surface, it looks pretty subdued but once you venture on the 3 mile loop trail, the treasures unfold.

It was highly rewarding to see several of the 200 native species of bird who call this place home. Birdsong from even more was heard as well. I 💚 birds!

There is no other place quite like this. Each time we discover something new.

“Nature has been for me, for as long as I remember,
a source of solace, inspiration, adventure,
and delight; a home, a teacher, a companion.”
