Winter Storm Warning...

Yes, Tahoe is unpredictable. Yesterday it was Spring, and now, a late season Pacific storm will bring periods of moderate snow and strong wind to the higher elevations of the Sierra Nevada (for the next two days).

No snow for us yet but the weather was dramatic, with the pines swaying and the rain creating an amazing rainbow. The favorite saying of locals is, "If you don't like Tahoe weather, wait 5 minutes!" I love all atmospheric conditions.

 “I’m continually inspired by nature,
and the rainbow is one of nature’s greatest optical phenomenon.
The sighting of a rainbow never fails to bring a smile to people’s faces.
They signify optimism and positivity:
with them comes the sunshine after the rain.”
