Meadowview Meandering...

Wanting a little diversity in our neighborhood walk, we headed to a different neighborhood, Meadowview.

This was one of our farthest outings (4 miles r/t).
This terrain introduced us to unique flowers. Had I known, I would have brought my camera but Steve's phone did a pretty good job capturing the beauty.

We decided to get off trail and wander in the dry riverbed (social distancing).
Look at this cool lizard we discovered. So fun. We were explorers.
Butterflies fluttered along with us as we delighted in new vistas. It was a pretty great morning, though with the temperatures reaching 96°, tomorrow we'll have to leave earlier.
